Syllabus- certificate of a small craft navigator, area of navigation is sea and internal waters:

FOTO

1) Structure of a board: 4 hours

2) Navigable mechanisms and systems: 4 hours

3) Seaworthy qualities of a board: 10 hours

4) Practice on sea (2 laboratory works, 6 practical trainings): 30 hours

5) Bases of meteorology and oceanography: 8 hours (4 laboratory works)

6) Basic concepts of navigation and: 46 hours

7) Management of works on a small craft: 6 hours + measures on avoidance of environmental pollution (laboratory works): 6 hours

8) Basic concepts on navigating lining of a vessel way: 12 hours + practical training: 12 hours

9) Swimming practice: 12 hours

Totally: 150 hours

After successfully passed examination and registration in Estonian Maritime Administration, the international certificate is given out. The certificate allows making independent navigations (on boards up to 24 meters in length) by the sea and also internal waterways of the European Union. European certificate allows its holder to rent motor and sailing yachts on vacation (the Mediterranean, Caribbean Islands …)

Cost: 7500 EEK
The cost consist of theoretical studies, practical studies on navigation, maritime practice, oceanography, navigating hydrometeorology, and also a swimming practice onboard of educational vessel. Employment in the evening and in the afternoon - the schedule can be coordinated with listeners.
